Firstly, i have learnt about grammar which is the most basic requirement of English. Next, have learned about how to pick out important points from an essay. Following which, i have learnt about the structure of writing reader response and problem solution essay. I think that this progressive learning have helped me during this module since my foundation for English is poor.
I think that i have improved on content by learning how to add in-text citations and adopt a more organised structure.
I would like to learn more about how to elaborate my essay further during week 10-12 since it is my weakness. On top of that, my other weaknesses are poor grammar and lack of vocabulary.
The comment given by Prof Misty is easy to understand but I feel that i am not very sure whether my correction is right or wrong after editing my mistake. The audio feedback is more straight forward but there is still a sense of uncertainty when editing my own work. Peer reviewing exercise for the problem solution essay helps me a lot as i am able to learn from my friends. However, i find it difficult to point out their grammatical mistakes as their essay looks good to me. For the remaining weeks, i hope to improve on my in-text citations, structure of essay and elaboration on my essay.
